Transitions.....

Its a cliche but still ........work hard and party harder.....Had been hearing this from the time i stepped in IT industry. Today, after Fridays party, i can say yes i have unravelled the thing which have been baffling me for quite some time.

On Friday night it was our scheduled project Party in Ellysium, KP, Pune.( It shouldnt have been Ellysium since i couldnt find a single board doing the naming for the Hotel). After coming to Pune, it has been my 5th or 6th, even i have forgotten my count - why, if you are with such a group who can party for no reasons do you really believe that you can maitain a count. Leaving that apart yes it was 5th party in Pune.

The Group

Before starting on with anything i would like you to know something about the people who would be partying their heart out ( rather than the usual - night out). It has been more than a year we have come to Pune with a group who is basically from Delhi. So we can safely assume that these guys would be having somewhat more stamina for party than me who has been basically from Maharashtra. This group is a bunch of innovative, enthusiastic public. These guys can bring up any ideas at any time and everytime you get for a party it would be a different feel only thing that would be same would be their unparalleled rocking enthusiasm. Hence this party also had a different feel from other parties.

Starter

Common dont mix up your meal starter with this. This one is about we starting off from office around 3.30pm on Friday the 16th June 2006. Myself and Prakash( my colleague) were the only ones in the higher group who were in the bus with our team. In india we cant have anything better than Antakashri for breaking the ice and enjoying to the hilt since we are more of a music loving nation. Me with the front half guys and girls in one team and Prakash with the later half guys and girls. It started off really well and the people required to create the much needed laughter was from our group - Amit, Puneet, Dhaval, Charu . It was all fun teasing and pulling each others leg.

Refresher

Again this speaks about the games we played for getting ourselves refreshed to the environment and start with the party mood. We all were distributed in 5 groups and then some games with individuals of each group. It was total fun - however i missed a lot of that since i was very hungry and started off with starters.

Dance, Dance, Dance till you drop......

You had the sun setting down and here lights lighting up your dance floor with only people to provide the breaks in the lights path. With drinks in one hand and your foot tapping to the latest hits - what one more can ask from life for the those very moments.

But then you need to ask guys who drink not me who is a total teetotaller.

It really amazes me seeing people dancing like crazy forgetting any worries and just enjoying and draining themselves in the much provided aura. Though this time i got some answers on them as I was also one of them who was dancing and dancing and dancing. Pulled up KG and Prakash and Aniket to dance floors and enjoyed it thoroughly.

Wet Grass Calmness.....

Finally break from the Dancing and i was out in the Open. Since it had rained and the Ellysium had a garden - it was fun putting your bare legs on the wet grasses holding water and providing with you with some amazing moments. You really cant pay to get such feeling.

My favourite time for the whole party started then when we( some people whom i can talk without any presumptions) settled in a round and started talking and heard some of the amazing songs straight from heart. Its not just literally what i am speaking about but really heard some people sing through their hearts. Before these songs had begun we were talking about general things in life and what all we do daily and what we should be doing in our lives. One of the things which i really feel is that life is really short for any fights and one really doesnt have time to explore it. One should in its life time try many many things and explore all possibilities. One input which i took from someone was - have 4 or 5 new hobbies every 2 or 3 years. On pondering over it i realized that it is really true since you get to see other aspects of life and you live life.

Gala Dinner to Provide the End......but for me only Icecreams and Gulabjamuns...

I had an end to such a wonderful party by having icecreams and gulabjamuns from as many people's plates as i could. Continously chatter box, thats me, on and relishing the ice creams in the rain.... :):)

For me it was a much required change and i took advantage of each and every moment. Eating, Chatting and Enjoying.....thats what the essence of life is. Got to know some of the people and i was feeling really great.That feeling i get only when i have a great heart to heart talk with people with whom the frequency Matches.
